The software does not allow you to change from filing jointly to filing separately without re-entering all the data. I'd like to compare the two options, if for no other reason just to see the difference. It seems like something that should be accomplished with a mouse click, but that's not the case.
Having to pay to submit the state form seems like a slap in the face.

HR Block's software recommendation to take Standard Deduction could have resulted in $800 VA state tax liability. Insufficient detail on Stimulus Payments selection, resulted in IRS rejection of $2800 Credit.
