I’ve used this for several years and it’s pretty straight forward program. I,like the way it accesses the previous years basic information and populates the form. I like you can review the different elements of the forms and make corrections if needed. The one area it lacked for me this year and perhaps I overlooked it was more explanation on how to enter a Required Minimum Deduction. I finally figured it out to use the 1099R form, but the help section as well as Q&A did not provide any help. It was very frustrating until I figured it out. That part could have been much better.
Pros: Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used HRB Tax siftware for many tears and have been satisfied. But this year things went poorly. I was never able to load the State (NC) tax program. I was instructed to tap the load program button, six times, yet it never loaded the necessary software. And worse, I was billed six times on my credit card for the six attempts to load. I am still unable to do my state taxes. A One Star rating is generous.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cumbersome when the reviews are stubborn if the us

The software got me through another year of taxes, but when the computer program reviewed everything, it found 2 issues and one possible omitted number. I reviewed these items and did not need to correct them. But the program was not friendly at all about these alleged problems! I had to enter zeros to get it to stop! There should be a hot key to allow the user to respond with OK if nothing is actually wrong!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
