I am a 78 year old who am far from a compter genious. In fact if left to my own devices would still be using a rotary phone. That being said I have been using the H&R Block software for a number of years to do my taxes and the ability to transfer information from one year to the next makes tax season much easier. In addition if I encounter a problem there is support available
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe for at least 5 years. It is easy to use and if there is something I don't understand there are drop boxes that explains that subject. If there is something I don't understand there is a sequence that you can follow.

After completing all the relevant info, the software required my AGI from the previous year. For reasons unknown, it would not accept my past year’s AGI and I could NOT file electronically.
Same issue with a family member who also tried to file!!
Very, very disappointed in the product and cannot recommend to others!

Navigation is not as good as TurboTax; planning for next year is not nearly as easy to use as TurboTax; I successfully filed and printed, but now something happened and H&R won't print forms to correct size on Mac M1.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
