I have been using Deluxe software for over 15 years. I had an issue with RMD screen, so called the hot line. The person could not answer the question so gave me the phoone no of the local office. I called them and the person took my question and told me she will call back. Have not head from her and it has been over 2 weeks. Probably try Turbotax next year.

I am frustrated that I baught this then had to pay an additional amount for the one and only state filing I needed. If I needed more than one I could understand the additional charge but most people that use this software will file 1 state return and it should be included in the purchase cost. Bait and switch feeling for me!

I have used this product for several years. This year's version seemed to be a bit lacking in the helpfulness of the data entry screens and online help. (For example....entering a 1099-INT and the screen didn't have a field for entering the payer TIN/EIN value. This value is entered with almost every 1099 and/or W-2 so it seemed odd that this screen didn't have it. Searching the online help and an hour+ call into the customer help line did nothing to provide an answer.) Very disappointing.
Also, when submitting this survey, you have multiple fields marked as "optional"....yet to submit the survey it forces you to enter at least one...that means that they're not "optional" and is kind of indicative of the QA around your product.
