I've been using H&R Block program for years and have never had any problems, you are walked through every step.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I like that I can import the previous year’s information, saving a lot of data entry. I also appreciate that I can download financial data into the correct forms for my tax return. Electronic filing of my federal return is great. I wish, however, that it would also electronically file the state return for “free.”

Multiple corrupted returns, I ended up doing my taxes three times FROM SCRATCH due to corrupted returns. So annoying! I won’t use them again next year.
