The advertising I saw, on which I based my purchase decision, did not make it sufficiently clear that this version would produce all that was needed to file my state return by mail, but e-filing was an extra cost item.

I had to file amended returns for both federal and state. The federal return was very simple and straight forward. The state is confusing and seems like the instructions are incomplete. State amended is the reason for the downgrade.

I e-filed the federal and state. Two weeks later I checked it and found it had not e-filed. I tried to refile but the program wouldn't bring back the save forms because it had to have the state reinstalled. I repeatedly tried to reinstall the state but it wouldn't install. I deleted the state and tried to install but still refused. I deleted the main program and reinstalled but still couldn't install state. I had to buy the program from another place. I installed and ran the saved forms and e-filed. This time it did work. I've used this program for a few years and never had a problem. This time it cost me quite a bit of money and time. I gave 3 stars because of the previous years were done so well.
