Been using this program for years, and am mostly satisfied, and I've recommended to others who use it now.
One complaint! I had to click the "SEND" button multiple times to get it to not fail sending both my IRS and State taxes. That was caused by my ISP (difficulty in uploads), not the tax program. The problem is, I was billed 3 times! Yes, I've seen you statement that when multiple charges are made, ultimately only one will apply. That's NOT good enough. The program needs to NOT even charge, or at least submit an immediate refund, when anything like this happens.
Pros: Easy to prepare

There were a lot of errors in loading the software this year, some questions led to incorrect entries, and the phone help was useless. The agent finally put me on hold and just hung up without solving my problem. I did eventually figure out work-arounds, and did file successfully though.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used H&R Block for several years. It has served me well. Easy to use. I don't have to worry about adding or any of the math related to filing a return. As long as you have all of your paperwork you can't go wrong.

I've been using H&R Block's software for over 10 years and have always valued it. It has found additional savings for me in the past and allows me to use the efile feature to quickly and safely file my returns. It also allows my kids to do the same thing. I do wish that it would allow for free state efile as well but will hope that feature will be added in the future.
