I used the Tax Software last year and this year, and it was generally self-explanatory and relatively easy to use. But I still had trouble figuring out certain items, even with the helpful boxes that will open giving additional information. And I have a very simple straight-forward return to complete.

I use their software year after year. I'm disappointed that there are year to year calculations that the software could calculate but doesn't. Also, some terms go unexplained.

Never works as promised, they never get it right

Every year I have used this, I either OWE more money or overpaid, and I am filling in all the information you are requesting. WHY? I thought YOU were the experts, what is going on? I rely on YOU, the experts, to guide me through doing my taxes but if YOU can't get it right, why do I bother? AND, IRS no longer gives me a reason as to why it is screwed up. They just either send me a refund or demand more money with fines and penalties. Next year, I am going to hand write them. Why do you add in a fee to file my state taxes when I already paid for the software that clearly states FEDERAL AND STATE?
