I've used this software for decades and always rated it a 5 star. This year it took forever to get the Capital Gains forms finalized and I still have doubts because something didn't seem right. I filed knowing I entered the information correctly and they will stand behind me in an audit.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I have used this product for many years and will continue to do so. Importation of securities data is a little sticky and requires careful attention. Data items are easy to import multiple times. This may well be the fault of the financial institution.

I’ve been using H&R Block tax software for over 20 yrs and have always been more than satisfied with it. However, this year there was a program glitch that took several weeks to get fixed and caused a lot of stress. I was not so happy. Eventually it was resolved.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kentucky State form P is inaccurate(in software). The Q&A does not allow for 2 separate retirement dates. Instead it combines total months served, thus changing the exemption percentage. Each retirement must be calculated separately as stated on form P.
