Use it to email federal and state. This year it would not allow me to complete and email state. Both solutions were not workable. Only allowed me to mail state return. Have used it for last 7 years and have not had this problem before. Calling for help over the phone is impossible unless you sit and wait for a long time. Will not buy again.

Software was adequate to the task of filing our 1040 with standard deduction. The interview process and input of numbers was fine. Somewhat lacking in the e-filing and printing portion.

I have been using this software for many years. It is convenient to have last years info transferred over. It is very helpful but sometimes there are issues that you have to make the decision that could be right or wrong and there are no guard rails for situations like that. The price went up a lot but it is sill much lower than the competitors.

It does the calculations for you so you do not make mistakes. It walks you through new things and live changing events.
