Bought the Tax Program and downloaded using it on an older OS. It worked. A problem, though. The program did not catch a mistaken entry for capital gains when the correct entry should have been for federal tax withheld.

I’ve been using the H&R Block tax software for years and years. I am generally happy with the product each year. I feel like my retunds are maximized. One reoccurring annoyance over the past two years has been the need for an anti-identity theft pin number that I need to retrieve from the IRS. I would like to have a warning about that before submitting my Return for review by the IRS because twice now it’s been rejected until I get that ID.

Use HRBlock software for many years and the last 2 years for a State return. All is as easy as it ever was with explanations on about every entry if needed. Auto file is simple and data transferred to State was great. The last 2 years the return were accepted within an hour by the IRS and confirmed the next day. I would recommend the software for all returns.

fairly easy to use, but having to review every imported transaction is a pain. very difficult to see certain things, like how exactly the tax is calculated, active/passive income, ST/LT gains etc...

Problem on printing in 2023 and 2024 reporting persist. Spent over a week and half each time to resolve issue. Ready to start using good old filing the way I did in the old days. Been using HRB when it was Taxcut and never had this problem. Time for your programmers to fix
