Ultimately, I completed my taxes that included some relatively simple inheritance items. The review prior to submission identified the need to fill out an extra form based on an answer but didn't go to an interview for that form. The problem was terminology used is confusing. I changed the answer and that removed the issue.

federal taxes were easy to follow. State tax did not classify some 1099's as interest. I had to keep reading instructions to classify as interest.
