Biggest mistake switching from turbo tax to h@r block deluxe 1. It not easy to download last years turbo tax like the box says.2 limited amount of lines to add chartible deductions.3 grossly overcharged me to submit taxes,4 no human help available except chat option that is no help whatsoever. Stick to turbo tax or you will regret it!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HR Block Deluxe did a pretty good job this year. Only problem was the CA State software and how the taxpayer is supposed to determine differences between Fed and Sate with respect to depreciation of business assets. Figuring that out was very time consuming and I still don't get about a carry over of depreciation because of a business loss. Also, there was a problem with reporting State Income Tax refund.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I bought this product and am happy with it except for one thing, I don't think you should charge for state tax return. I have seen other programs that don't require a charge for state returns. Outside of that it was a simple program to use.
