The user had to agree to share information with companies outside the USA. Some questions weren’t obvious, and the FAQs and other information didn’t clarify the issue. TurboTax filed in more fields. I didn’t know that the cost of e-filing the state form wasn’t included—it was 2/3 the price of the program; if I had known that, I would not have paid extra for the state income tax return—my state provides e-filing online, no charge. The “convenience fee” for charging an underpayment was adding insult to injury. I printed out the state tax return and mailed with my check, my cost only postage and envelope.

I was a little disappointed with the program this year. I had to enter more information than I usually do. It did not pull as much information from last years submission. It didn't even pull my home address information. Not sure if the IRS changed things that caused that. Also my activation code made it look like I had the Deluxe version but the package I purchased was for the Basic version. I was afraid to try to use the State file part. I felt I would have to pay extra for it.
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
