Software does not import 1099's well from Vanguard Brokerage accounts.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I used to use Turbo Tax. I started using Block a couple years ago and have always been satisfied. It makes tax time simple and affordable. I don't understand people paying hundreds of dollars for someone else to do a simple return. You still have to collect al your tax documents anyway.

I've used H&R Block software for 20 years. Because of reviews i almost didn't purchase it this time but i did. The purchase process was no as easy. It did not self-fill all the information it used to. It didn't contain a state form that I needed that WAS included this year. Not planning on using next year. Unhappy customer!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
