I bought this product back in December 2024. I updated to the most current version. I successfully submitted my federal taxes. My state taxes were incorrectly calculated due to Line 41 Social Security benefit adjustment. I needed to use another software to submit my state taxes. I am lucky I noticed the calculation error. I would have overpaid taxes to the state of Connecticut.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the 2nd year using H&R Block. I have used it to do not only my own taxes, but also my daughter and granddaughter's taxes. I found it very easy to use. I like the fact that you can import info from investment firms (so much easier then trying to figure out what amount goes on which line). I also like that I'm able to print out my forms (I like to also have a hard copy). So far, no issues or complaints. It's a very easy program and cost effective.
