I have used H&R Block software for a long time. The last two years were very dissapointing. I was unable to file electronically. I received absolutely no help from the software. I am left disapointed.

It said we paid our taxes but H&R Block never processed our payment. We end up having to pay a penalty because they did not receive it.

H&R Block Deluxe does a fair job in the importing of information and interview process. Having said that, if you want to be sure all the information is correct, Block makes it difficult. They present many superfluous schedules and worksheets that are hard to relate to the final return. Additionally, in some instances, numerous numbers are aggregated and entered on various lines in the return with no way for the taxpayer to know what was combined to come up with that entry. If you go back to review the return to make sure all is correct, you wind up searching through all the numbers to see how the entry was calculated which is time consuming. That could and should be remedied.
