I had a complex year with inheritance, short sales, gift to family, Roth conversion and first RMD from inherited IRA. Took me a while to sort through my mistakes in how i'd answered the interview questions. Did you know you can delete a 1099 and then import again (and open IRS instructions) while answering the questions with so many special terms. some are well defined in IRS instructions.

In places it would be helpful to reinforce definitions (Dependent, someone who relies on you for more than 50% of their daily living expenses). Exemptions to you are a lot easier to fathom than the average Joe.

It was fairly straightforward but does take awhile to get all of the way through. They’re could be simpler ways to do it if you just need basic 1040 stuff but having household, dependents or investment makes it a little more complicated and longer.
