i am disappointed that this years version 2024 did not have option to read a report that compares side by side this yr data with pervious yr data ( important line items only)
also had trouble getting to a "drop down list" of financial institutions from which to import data.. solution was /is not obvious.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I've always used H&R Block software, and I had a tough time understanding that I couldn't use last year's PINs, so it failed to accept both of my returns. I don't recall it saying that I couldn't use our old PINs. I finally realized this and had them accepted.

It's awful that they make it seem like the State is included in the cost! But, when you get to the end of the Federal and State, they ask you if you want them to submit the State and pay more! That's ridiculous! I could have done it with the my state for free, but I already did all the work. That's how they rip you off more!
