Could not believe HRB would vend a product that that was so difficult to use. I wrote a hefty check to the IRS and my tax software made it nearly i
impossible to engage estimated payments for 2022 with printed receipts. Also had a hang up with dependents that was identified in the check but nevere could get it resolved. Hard to believe I had to live with these issues after using this product for at least 25 years.

Block tax program indicated I was eligible for third stimulus payment. I was not, according to the IRS. I called Block and was first told it was data I input. It was not. Then I was told it was a "glitch" in the program. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I will not use Block software to prepare my taxes again.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I have been using this software for over 10 years and have never had any issues or problems with filing. The IRS has accepted everything submitted.
As far as simplicity, I have yet to need or seek assistance from the H&R Help Desk!
The imbedded instructions and definitions are clear cut all you do is follow them.
The software allows you to save multiple returns, I use this in projecting the next year's return.
I would recommend H&R Block tax software to anyone who files.

I thought the software was very easy to use and would ask the right questions when I wasn't sure if it applied to me or not. The help feature was also very good. I did find it a little confusing when I wanted to jump from form to form. But that could just be me

One still needs ability to fill out tax forms and read tax instructions other than simple straight forward tax forms that software is good at. The software is not good at filling out your health forms.
