I have enjoyed the HRB software for a couple of decades and have found it productive...that is until the current version. My return has been rejected by the IRS 4 times and there has been no (human) help to rectify the issue. I just find myself sending to two robots: the HRB one and the IRS one.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was ok.A few problems I had to google to finish up .the text bot couldn’t figure out when I tried. It confused a cd I sold as a stock when I downloaded my investments.I ended up deleting that to finish up.Also,it couldn’t figure out what to do with the Washington state taxes in box 14 for long term care,disability etc.

1. The program did not process all items listed on the federal K1 form.
2. It sometimes appears that the interview questions were generated by an IRS agent. (Maybe an AI program?)
3. The Display needs to fill more of the computer screen. (For those with impaired vision like me)
