The use of the SAFEHARBOR METHOD for causality losses did not seen to be working correctly in that i continue to get messages that i was not doing it right, when i changed to the other option, my information when through the software correctly. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Good product. Works well. Several of our income providers were not hooked into whatever import system H&R Block uses, so manual importation was needed.
There are some confusing parts of taxes that the software could explain better. For example, our HSA contributions are deductions, which makes sense, but it would be nice to label the "duduction" as "the amount contributed to your HSA" or something.

My first time inputting an RMD. My RMD was straight forward input, nothing tricky. I had to redo my inputs several times due to confusing interface. Questions put me into a circle of inputs to get out of penalty phase. I knew for certain I could not have a penalty. I hope IRS doesn't come after my filing.

I've been using this software for years. I like that it mines data from the previous return. I like the "Learn More" function all along the way, and the fact that you can actually text with a tax expert. And i like that you can import the 1099's from the financial institute.
I would like the software to be more savvy about the state return. All it really does for the state is fill in the blanks.
