I used turbot ax for many years and got H&R Block this year because I felt Turbo Tax to be over priced. Some of the questions didn't seem very clear but overall I was satisfied. It imported my last years return from Turbo tax very easily.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Verified Purchase:Yes
The reason for low score is that they don't do K1 or K2s well and if you try to e-file with your 6 digit IRS PIN, the app want recognize it, as they only use 5 digits. Its been this way for years, so fix it!
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used H&R Block for many years. My taxes very simple. No issue before. This year I have one mortgage and two 1098 forms from different lenders(my loan has been transferred). Program does not allow me to use this 1098-s and keep correct loan average amount (it was duplicated and cross critical number( $750K). Call twice for support-useless.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
