Generally very good but importing from Schwab could be better. For TD Ameritrade the program sends you to a general Schwab website for help which doesn’t actually exist. For closed Schwab accounts you have to type in all data manually. And for the corrections at the end it just sends you to a place without explaining why.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was very frustrated with this software. The instructions are non-existent. Once you complete the first background sheet there are no directions on how to proceed. I called your Help line twice and was hung up on twice. Finally realized hitting the save button would open the next page. It would be nice if you all told us that from the beginning. Not all of us are computer geeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product but needs some improvement. We were filing a joint tax form. Sometimes it wasn't clear that another form had to be generated for the other user while at other times each form had each of our names on it. What was appreciated was that the bottom of the page showed an excerpt on how the tax form looked.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

The app works okay, but the price on your website is way too high. I have been a customer for over 10 years and never got any type of notification that the app was available. Before, the earlier it was purchased, the cheaper it was.

On the whole I am pleased with the package. The software works well and imports of data work smoothly. I did try importing a W2 from a scan but it did not work. That is a minor inconvenience and given it was an unusual one not completely unexpected. My only disappointment is the charge for filing state returns. I expect to pay for the second state return but now being charged for the filing on top of it made it easier to simply mail it in. Particularly as we do owe the state some additional dollars.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
