I have been using H&R Block tax preparation software for 5 years. I find it easy to use. I can import last years data, update numbers, add/subtract items to fit the current year, and work my way through the return over a couple weeks. Then, once entered, check everything from start to finish carefully to make it’s all exactly right before eFiling. My state return is built on my IRS return, so it’s very quick to prepare. Lots of good help support built in. I have never been audited.

Easy enough. Feels good when done.
A request. Make another copy of the final return so it's safe from accidental deletion. Somehow we deleted the 2023 file so had to start from scratch again for 2024.
Otherwise, it's good software.

Been using H&R Block tax software for years and like that it populates a lot of the info from previous returns. Only need to fill in values for current year. Very easy to use and software cost is reasonable. Only additional cost is for state tax E-filing which I wished would be included.
