Easy & straightforward to use. I was hesitant to try on a final tax return for a relative, but it was simple.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I’ve used H&R Block software for filing my taxes for over 20 years. It’s mostly self explanatory. This year, I had a little difficulty entering stock sale transactions but that was in part my lack of knowledge and that some of the instructions weren’t completely clear on that topic
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Difficult to use on MAC, updates not available. Can’t file Federal yet 3/15, due to missing forms in program, holding up State filing. Don’t buy.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

The H&R Block software works well. But beware solicitations for pre-ordering and early ordering. I had pre-ordered and paid for Deluxe + State expecting to save money but got Deluxe without State. When I discovered this, the warrantee period had passed. I had to struggle to get H&R Block to come up with a solution, which it finally did but it cost me extra money.
