I've used H&R Block now for the last several years and they keep making little improvements that seem to make filing easier. Tax time is never fun, but it is better with the right software.

Unfortunately i was not too happy with H&R software! To me it wasn't user friendly! I had to stop my taxes and work on them another day because i was so frustrated!

The software is perfectly fine for Q&A examples, and providing the assistance to get it right. The Deluxe + State 2022 Version that I used has my eFile status as 'Pending' for 7 days now. I have a case # with H&R; am waiting for the return call to resolve, which can take up to 5 business days. I'm in day 3, ugghh
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Okay but instructions not the best. Perhaps trying to be too simple but some areas take a lot of reading between the lines. QCD income comes to mind quickly. Not easy to figure out how to enter or confirm it.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
