I have been using the H&R Block software for many years firstly for our personal tax’s and also for my wife’s small business tax’s. I have never had a problem and it’s alway worked smoothly. As long as they keep up the good work I will gladly continue to give them my business!

This is great software! We have used H & R Block software for several years now, and we are able to import all our information from the previous year, which makes the job so much easier! We had our taxes done in about 30 minutes.

The program worked extremely well until I got to foreign tax paid on some securities. Then I was slightly over the $600 limit for married couples and had to fill in form 1116. There were no instructions for doing this. The IRA web site was fairly incomprehensible - for every instruction I could find there must have been 10 things not to do. I struggled through it and think I got it right, but wished the program had provided more help.

I have been a long time Taxcut/HRBlock software user. This had been the worst year! I had 3 submissions rejected, for resins attributed to HRBLOCK e-file problems. Customer support was helpful. But I’ve never received an explyas to why this occurred. I had to wait for 3 software updates, before my submission was accepted on the 4th try.
Seriously considering changing software for next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
