Sneeky, provides no support from previous years. Always extra charges.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

For ease of use, logical flow of work and accuracy, H&R Deluxe Tax Software is a 5-star product. Too bad Intuit puts in cheesy upselling screens and attempts to sell other products and services. Some of these have the appearance of being a necessary part of using the software. Accepting these products and upgrades is not necessary, but they can trick unsuspecting users into paying for them.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I did not like that my return after waiting more than 3 days was rejected by IRS because I needed to do a software update. It was accepted less than an hour after resubmitted with update. Would think I would have been told that was an issue before 1st subnission.

I have used H&R Block since 2018. It is easy to use and inexpensive.. Takes me less than two hours to complete and electronically file both my Federal and State income tax forms. I can highly recommend H&R Block income tax software.

Was never able to get the State of MD software to work properly. Worked with HR Block but never a resolution. I heard from other users that this was a problem also with Turbo Tax, but they got resolution.
