Very Disappointed in 2022 Software

2022 software is horrible. Miscalculated transfer of interest & dividends amount from Fed to State of AL. Reported on 2/24/22 - Finally resolved by Update 3/17/22. I filed Fed electronically today but when I tried to print the page confirming transmission the program hung up and did not respond. I had to exit. Now I can't get back in to program to print my State return to mail because I get a message that "The program is already running". Sometimes I can't get into the program and get a message "A Bitmap named C:\Program Files(x86)\HRBlock2022\Program\bmp256\palette.bmp could not be loaded. (see WinDIBitmaplmp::load0) Been using H&R Block software since 2014 and never had issues until this year.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was not informed of fee before chosing to pay by credit card. That was like a slap in the face when I saw the fee, but too late to change since you have to file before they let you know about the fee.
Will never used that pay system again and wouldn't have used it if I was informed that there would be a fee.

the software works fine. But find the hidden fee to electronically file a state return very deceitful and unethical. You have to pay extra when you purchase the software for state tax returns and then there is an additional fee only discovered when trying to file the state return.

Switched to H&R Block from TurboTax a few years ago and never looked back. Software installation and use is a lot less cumbersome than the other S/W. E-Filing is also hassle free and speedy. Cost of the software is very reasonable and is a bonus. Free-E-Filing is great. Three of our household members are currently using it. You can't go wrong.
