Clunky, felt like a 1990s computer software with the look and feel. Past online version were far more user friendly - I found this more confusing to use compared to previous years. I don't like that you have to commitment to a package and can't upgrade as you are completing your return, feels predatory, as a way to make people purchase twice who don't understand what they need.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Guessing I have used H&R Block tax software almost two decades. Import from previous year is helpful and most of the software is pretty easy to understand. Never had an issue downloading updates. I usually file mid March. Filing taxes is hard to get excited about.
