Only issue I have is that I was charged mire that what the paper I ordered it off of states for the price of the program.

It works but has some deficiencies. The estimated tax part of the program came late and didn't cover all options. The ability to go back and update entries is cumbersome. The purchaser of a program that includes federal and state returns shouldn't have to pay to e-file the state return. And this request for feedback is a poorly disguised attempt to get reviews to post online.

I found this program very easy to use without any distracting side bars. This was my second year using the program after becoming dissatisfied with the competition that I had used for many years. I was able to easily complete my taxes and feel comfortable with the results.bi liked being able to use the drop-down menu to quickly exam how my entries went into the actual IRS pages. The only thing I don't like is the planning tool for paying my estimated quarterly taxes for next year. I was given a warning that I may want to withhold more next year but upon trying to use the calculator I find that I am asked to input data that I don't understand. I thought my information from 2024 would be automatically entered in the appropriate places but this was not done. I know that I will need to pay more in estimated taxes as this is my first year being required to take an RMD. As I write this review I realize that I can just use a copy of my 2024 return and change it to reflect the RMD amount and tweak any other numbers like my social security. In short, the tax filing process is great, the planning tool is not useful.

I have been very pleased with this product for many years. It has guided me and my family through many phases of my life. It helped to ensure I get all the benefits possible. I would have rated it excellent, but it did not catch or highlight an important development on my daughter's return. She fell into the earned income credit category (3 dependents & by several hundred dollars). I only found out when the IRS caught it! I sent a message to your company but never heard back.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
