Inadequate treatment of a house sale by one spouse after the death and step up of the other. Errors in the documents required for a deceased taxpayer in CO.

I have used H&R Block tax software exclusively for more than twenty years for preparing my tax returns. The installation of program was much easier until two years ago when they issued the program in disc form. Last two years I had to call for help with proper functioning of the software. Once it was done it worked well. The program is cheaper than TurboTax and works as well.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Federal forms were good, but for the second year in a row my State return did not bring over info correctly and was unusable - had to submit a paper form manually. Next year I use TurboTax
