In general, the product is good. But there is room for improvement. Examples, from being a previous TurboTax customer, I find the customer interface not the best as to user-friendliness. The interface feels old and rigid and lacks something. I also didn’t like the lingering warnings that were present in my return and could not be remediated no matter what I tried.

This software should include all Vermont Tax forms and well as penalty forms for state and federal income tax returns (VT IN-152 and IN-152A).
Your software programmers should be able to include all the state tax forms in this software. As a customer, you shouldn't have to do forms manually outside the software programming.
It should also include free state electronic tax return filings. You shouldn't have to pay extra for the electronic filing.

I've used this product (in its previous annual editions) for many years. This is the first time I've had a problem. There were math errors that were obvious (where the program and not I was doing the math) and I had to start all over again to rectify them. Also, it did not give me a chance to efile my state return with my federal and also didn't tell me that I couldn't do that. Eventually, after the federal return was accepted, it would still not let me efile the state return. I will mail it in, but clarification if there was an issue would have been appreciated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
