Paying for state elect filing is disappointing
on March 9, 2025

the software is easy to use and ours is a simple so i do my taxes in about an hour. I buy the deluxe + state but am always disappointed with the extra fee for filing state electronically. Especially when I get 5 fed electronic but only use 1.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had to resubmit my return 3 times. The 1099-R form was unclear and confusing to me. Is it a retirement or income form? Was I penalized for having these bank forms and I do not earn a lot of money throughout the year? After submitting my return three times using that one code, I am not sure if I was penalized three years of service, due to the errors, or one year despite three errors. I do not understand why the background form was not included in the beginning. I thought it was a hoax initially, after seeing the form in the end after resubmitting once I fixed the error. I kept getting an error on one form but I was unable to submit an amount.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
