Stop lobbying the government to make taxes complex

I absolutely despise that you and the other tax software companies are lobbying the government to purposely make taxes complicated, so that people have to rely on your software to file taxes, when it could be so much easier, like it is in other countries. What you're doing is absolutely despicable.

Sooner or later a term or piece of financial tax jargon comes up that you don’t understand. One minute on the phone, with a small fraction of the help they advertise, would put me back on the right path. Navigating the help menu choices was taking me in a circle, recognized that and quit lapping. Relented to asking AI and received the disappointment I suspected. It was a couple of months ago and I wish I had written down the specifics.
Also, the program tripped me up by asking me how much basis there was in an inherited IRA, can’t ask them.
