Second year in row have had trouble updating the program. Had trouble updating both the federal updates and getting the state downloaded. I have been using H &R paid downloaded program for over twenty years, and think I am finally going to switch programs.

The H&R Block State and Federal software both saves and at times can cause time consuming issues. All my previous years info populates the new forms saving tons of time. The only issue I have is with the IRS pin option and it's location in the software. Without the pin, the Federal tax portion is declined causing the States taxes to be held up and a repeat purchase of the State electronic filing is needed and a refund for being billed twice. A better location for the IRS pin is needed to avoid this issue. Other than this issue, the software is very helpful each year in preparing and filing my taxes
