This is the second year I’ve used this software after switching from TurboTax. The interview process is well designed and defines terms the user may not be familiar with. The import process is far superior to TurboTax. Even paying the filing fee was easier than with TurboTax. I’m glad I switched.

I wish there was not an additional efile fee for the state form. I am going to consider free options next year. I also saw two identical charges on my American Express account. I am guessing that one will be removed, but why did it happen in the first place?
The program works well, but sometimes the interface is frustrating. I want to make a check on an interest form, or something in an area that had been completed, and it can be an adventure figuring out how to go back to check or revise something.
I am keeping an open mind, but will investigate other alternatives next year.
