HORRIBLE

I HAVE USED IT FOR THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS THIS YEAR SUPPORT WAS NOT HELPFUL AND ALL OF THE EXCESS CHARGES FOR EVERY STATE AND EFILE. WAS NOT HAPPY WITH AND WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This year was very difficult
The various returns that I was working got conflated
Difficult to recover

Clear and simple to use

Very helpful. Clear instructions. But one serious issue: the AGI number from previous year's federal tax return that is needed to e-file. Possibly the software can provide this number is a secure fashion. I nearly spent more time finding it and in actually preparing the return.
Pros: Easy to prepare

H&R Block better than TurboTax

I used TurboTax years ago and hated it. There were always problems with the software. Then I found H&R Block and have used it for years. No more problems. Very accurate and easy to use.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

If I could give this software a 0 star, I would. This was the most cumbersome, confusing tax product I have ever used. I think their goal must be to make it hard enough that you ask them to do it. My taxes are simple. Always have been, but this experience had my blood pressure soaring, I am confident. I was never able to access the deluxe version until I hit submit and then charged me again for it.
I tried them out because my old product was no longer available. I will NEVER use this product again. Run! Going back to turbo tax. Used them a few years back and they made the process very logical and easy.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
