Other than that, I don't like that there is no way to ask a question. I have sat on hold for hours and got nowhere. Why is there no way to ask a tax question like placement of an item or an unusual situation.

The Federal tax credit for energy efficient improvements is flawed. My husband and I installed an A/C and Furnace this year that qualify. In order to pass all the errors, we had to complete the solar portion (all 0's) and we also had to say Yes to new construction, even though it wasn't new construction. Please correct these issues

My return was rejected because I did not enter an Identification PIN for a dependent. Why was this not required by the Software? Why was this NOT flagged as an error by the software? Very Frustrating!

Standard tax software. Some sections worse than previous years. Both the workflow and the verbiage of the MRD part of IRA distribution is very poor, confusing and improper language and very poor explanation.
One of these years it would be nice if one of the tax software companies would become more competitive and include free e-filing of State returns as well. It costs them absolutely nothing to actually e-file State but that is where they make a big percentage of their revenue because people choose it for the convenience.
I would recommend this to a friend!
