Ok, but still has issues

The software was easy to use. The problem came when I tried to file. I kept getting an error about a bad gateway connection. No problems with any other software and no way to fix the issue. Then finally I received an email an hour later that I had filed. Even though I was still getting a message that the software couldn't send. No way to check the status since the software still believes I didn't file.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this for quite a few years and it doesn’t get any easier. They used to send you a disc but now you must search for the software. It doesn’t make things very clear.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

I've been using the H&R Block software for maybe 8-10 years now, and am always pleased with the ease of use, the thoroughness of the questions and the assurance of help in case of an audit. I referred this to a friend this year whose accountant just retired. He is the kind of person who is very thorough and hesitant to trust in doing taxes himself. But he got the program and liked it so much that his entire family used it, saving even more money they would have typically paid an accountant.

I bought my H&R software before tax season to save money. However, the released software wouldn't execute on my computer's operating system. I should have changed to Turbotax. I bought a new computer but I worry if it will support H&R tax software next season
