Will never purchase your product again. Had to take time off work to file since I was unable to file last night and early this morning. If I could give zero star rating then I would.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Worst Experience Right Before Tax is Due!

We all understand things could happen. I know this is the last day, but I can't believe it took you that long to fix it! It's not the first time you are handling it! The e-filing has been failing since the night of 4/14 and all the way through most of the day on 4/15, and we didn't get any formal communication regarding it and when we should expect it to be working, which prompted probably everyone to keep trying non-stopping and clog the system even more. It also caused such headache to figure out how to file it on paper the ancient way that most people ditched long years back. It caused unnecessary stress and probably will result in thousands of loyal users leaving, if not lawsuit. I'm seriously considering a different software for next year. You do need to address it and make sure it won't happen again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Verified Purchase:Yes
I have used this software since it was TAXCUT on a floppy disk. This is the first year that I have encountered so many problems. Now having efile issues. Very disappointed.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BAD!!

First gripe. Can't download from several major brokerages.
2nd. Kept dropping entries in Charitys cash deductions going to add more and first page.
3rd. 2 days and many many many tries, before actually filing.

Dose not give full information sometimes

I have always in the past used H&R Block software.
This year I was late getting started. A couple issues I ran into: for some reason I did not get my date of birth entered in one place and the software did not indicate it was missing,
After all was correct, whenever I tried to electronic file it kept indicating that the transmission failed. After a while I checked my email and had a note that the file had been sent. I also got an email that the Return had been accepted. The software still shows the status as not having been sent.
This could be because I keep the files on a USB drive even though the program is on the C: drive, but this has not caused issues in the past.
Since the software will not show the Return status it just makes one unsure

Unacceptable E-filing Glitch April 14-15 2024

I have used this product since H&R Block bought out TaxCut years ago. Always have loved the ease in using and efiling. So you can imagine how frustrating it was to have the efiling fail the night before taxes were do and into most of the day on April 15th. Killed way too much time trying to keep checking to see if they had fixed the efile problem on April 15th.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good software, maybe better than TurboTax.

But the eFile process was terrible! H&R Block had servers down from about 9 PM on Sunday, April 14th, until just a little bit ago, 3:30 PM Eastern time on April 15th! Thousands and thousands for H&R Block, including myself, we're getting kind of desperate about what to do. eFile finally worked on my return.

Cons: Time consuming
