I have used tax cut for over 20 years and I could get finished inn less that 2 hours.
Now irt is H7R block and it is JUNK.

H&R breakdown and CANNOT efile last minute

H&R tax efile server down but did not inform customer reason in time. CANNOT efile TAX!!! Instead error message showed problem in customer gateway or OS and caused super chaos and difficulty in customer side on the 4/15 IRS filing deadline!!! BUT TURBO TAX IS WORKING!!!

Easy to use. state software requires a 2nd install

It was pretty easy to use. I did get the smallest refund I've ever gotten, so I probably made a mistake and will have to get it looked at. The state part was a separate installation, normally it isn't an issue, but I couldn't get the admin credentials when I was filing.

I file married jointly, with one of use working out of state. Although the HR Block software is relatively cheap, you have to buy additional states and pay additional fees for e-file in both states and federal. Doesn’t say anything like that on the box.
