Overall very good. I do need to “re-enter some data from the Fed to State software I think should flow automatically. Also, requires “ reference IRS instructions” for some K1 supplemental info that I think would be nice if the software was more capable, or tax advice could be offered. Overall, though I’ve used for years and the software is very good and pretty easy to use
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Have used HR Block software for years and like the way it carries data forward and saves keystrokes. Importing form data from companies has gotten better. Don't know why I keep getting validation issues on my multi sale stock 1099. First time ever could not file electronically, no issues shown in HR Block software yet Fed form rejected twice with no explanation. Finally printed to file and unusual it required me to attach our 1099-R forms. That did not happen last year. Need better explanations on validation issues instead of having to go and rework form to figure them out. CT State form came out within $1 of CT online filing system. Having the HR Block state form does help solve the vagaries found in the CT state online system. Overall, well worth the money.

Used this for years. Program is fairly easy to follow. Program itself I'd give more stars but grinds my.gears is I purchase the software but then they charge to file my taxes and then charge more if I owe.

I bought this forms but so confusing and small writing hard to read. Do not like this form the years before were much better.

I've been using this software since it was called TaxCut. A friend had me try it from his software after I had already paid a tax preparer just to see what I thought of it. Got the same results right to the dollar! I was hooked! I've been doing my own ever since even though I had some significant life changes. It handled them all!
