Panic ~ wasted time and money

I am sure you are going to get this from many. Not being able to efile on 4/14 and 4/15 cause so much issue. I literally could not sleep. I took a sick day from work which cost $$ because I spent the entire morn/day trying to figure out an alternative to get our efile to go through. I tried multiple computers. We had my husbands IT person install on another computer. I tried to print it all and of course ran out of ink. I finally started seeing the "news" articles the H & R Block was having an issues and that it just wasn't me. My credit card has 8 charges for filing the state. Hopefully will resolve.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I gave stocks to a charity and the software either didn't explain what I needed to do and because of that it forced me to list someone to appraise the value which doesn't make sense for stocks
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I have used tax cut for at least 10 years with few issues. I like how it imports the last years information and the auto form filling. The activation issues I’ve had in the past appear to be fixed. The fed E- file was easy.

The software worked fine. But I had bought a pre-release version back last year, and when I went to use it for my taxes, it would not download, so I had to buy a whole new copy. I won't be buying any more pre-release versions.

I have been using H&R Block tax software for 10+ years. The software does a very good job of collecting and organizing my tax info. Please remove the cost of uploading your taxes - There should NOT be any fee for this. The upload is FREE - You should pass this onto your customers.
Also - In the past 10+ years you have made ZERO improvements to Deductions Pro. The UI is quite poorly implemented with a number of bugs the user needs to navigate around to be successful. Please contact me if you would like more detailed information.
