This is still the best tax software on the market. There's just a few annoying things. It's not the easiest to navigate, and it said my return was error free, but when I hit submit is when it detected errors.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Windows desktop version used - multiple holds placed on debit card for each ATTEMPT to efile state (and federal at same time). Website down from 8:30 pm Sunday till late Monday 4/15 afternoon. Advised hold would lift 3-5 days or more. Advised to paper file. Could file extension BUT THAT IS ANOTHER CHSRGE!!
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The federal return was well designed and easy to use. The state return (Pennsylvania in my case) seemed a bit clunky: some parts were confusing, and the software told me that I needed to fill out a form that wasn't included, which I had to download myself from Pennsylvania's web site. Overall, it's a lot easier than filling out forms on paper. I've been using the software for over a decade, and I'll do so again next year.
I had the following problems with the state form: Medical deduction didn’t carry over. There was no way to enter certain deductions. 401K did not carry over properly. I did not call the help line but finally just did a paper form. Next year I am only buying Federal.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
