Preparing our Federal and State return was a breeze as always, but the submission process was a train wreck! Better be fixed for 2024 tax season!!!!!!

Verified Purchase:Yes
We purchased HR Block to try it out. The fees to file are less than Turbo Tax and so was the price when we purchased it. But it is not as user friendly, when printing it does not print well ( schedules were not on one pages like Turbo Tax.)
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I was unable to finalise my tax return because of a server error they were having. I ended up having to print my return and mail it even though I paid to have it electronically sent. Not a happy customer.
Cons: Hard to import documents

I am happy with HR Block software. It gets the job done. Not sure how to get help with tax questions if I dont find an anwser in help section? Wish the font was bigger as it seems to small to me on my screen.

I liked that they had a place to enter crypto currency gains and/or losses. Certain other tax software provides no guidance or mention if this emerging asset class. Excluding millions of smart investors.

Terrible experience this year. I've never had a worse year paying taxes. I've never owed more, software failed on upload and still shows return rejected, chat support was bad. The only saving grace was voice support gentleman was great.
