The calculation of taxes was wrong for Oregon, the kicker due me was underestimated by several hundred. The cost of paying IRS taxes was a surprise, you may have mentioned it somewhere but i didnt see it until i was at the point of entering my CC when paying federal taxes. In hind sight sending a check would have been easy and much more economic. The instruction for what to include for my Colorado return was confusing again. I should have sent both states electronically,

A year ago I read some IRS pubs to try to understand the rules -- a lot of time and still not much help. This year I again used Block software but this year i relied on its explanations. That made my job easier with less brain damage.
