This was the first year that I had any problem. Not all of my deductions were populated on the proper forms for submission. I had to play around with the program to get all the pages submitted.

I bought 2 EVs and got $15k in tax credits. The software couldn't handle it until April. So I lost 2 months of interest on the $15k. Which would have been much more than the cost of the software.

I have used the H&R software for the last twelve years. It has always been reliable and easy to use. This year, my return was rejected several times by the IRS due to a lack of required forms. I resubmitted after each IRS update to no avail. Finally ended up sending return by snail mail.
