I have been using the product for many years and never had any problem, but this year I waited until the last day and I had trouble submitting the returns for more than 12 hours. Fortunately I bould submitted the returns in the afternoon of last day, only several hours before the deadline, which really scared me.

this is a five star review with some prodding to get the lower priced versions to handle 1254 futures contracts and publicly traded partnership(PTP)/llp and their K-1 .
HnR Block deluxe does everything I needed like stock trades and plain futures/options trades. I have used it for about 10 years! i switched when turbotax tried to make me buy Premier just for easier entry on Schedule D for trades reporting. HnR block is so much cheaper than Turbo Tax. I'm not even sure TT can handle 1254's and PTP K-1s either. if you don't need them you can definitely get the cheaper HnR Block software

I've used this software for years, but not once has the state e-filing worked. I am forced t print and mail my state returns every year. I always get some error about the PDF files created are not correct....
