Did my taxes on your downloaded application. My problem was somehow I got on your online application and couldn't get off by the time I realized it. Telephone help said to close online file and restart my return again in downloaded app. I did but I haven't been able to get rid of online return and I get constant reminders I need to finish that return even though I filed and got my federal return refund back.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I like the overall product and have used it for years. This is the second year that H&R support has dropped the ball again. The front like support has been great but the back room as they call it is a total joke if they even have a back room support. I have a desk top that is newer than my laptop that is an old one that for the last two years I have had to do my taxes on. I had done them on my desk top but last year the software would not install and had and error message. The front line support did what they could and then passed me on to the "smart ones in the back room". Right they did the same thing as the front line and never heard from them again. Even on repeated calls from me I got the same repeated do thing again and again and again and ... They never solved the problem. I got down to April 10 and nothing from them dug out my old laptop tried the install on it and it worked so did my taxes last year. This year ordered again. Earlier and started the process again. REPEAT OF THE SAME CRAP. The back room black hole of death. All other software I get installs with no problem but theirs does not. Do they care, NO THEY DO NOT CARE.

My only criticism is that there are too many screens. Less white space and you could be combining things

We have used H&R Block for years. I've noticed the questions are shorter and point you in one direction, which seems like it is missing details. The ad says there are many benefits, like multiple returns in one purchase, but there are no instructions how to do it.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I have been using this software for years now. I had a problem with the software deleting my W2 forms from the Federal taxes and not allowing me to include them in my State taxes. I had to file my state taxes separately directly with my State. I could not fine the help I needed online.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
